Gay Pride still march on
Every year on late June, Milan celebrates the Gay Pride. On this occasion, the streets around via Lecco and Porta Venezia (heart of the LGBTQ+ community) become the Pride Square.
The COVID-19 crisis has led to cancel the ‘Milano Pride’ as hundreds of Pride celebrations around the globe.
But the idea of a year without Pride is unacceptable, the LGBTQ+community has found a way to celebrate it: there will be a Global Pride on June 27, 24-hour virtual celebration. There will be musical performances, stories from LGBTQ+ community, political speakers and much more!
Milan will partecipate to the Global Pride! It’s more important than ever to send a message of inclusivity and support for free expression for everyone.
