
Brera Art Gallery is a national art gallery and it is one of the larger complexs of the city of Milan with 24,000 square meters of surface.
Brera Art Gallery was founded by Napoleone Bonaparte in 1809. Today the gallery is one of the main Italian museums and is known all over the world.
Inside the museum there is one of the most famous collection of Italian art, especially Venetian and Lombard painting. Moreover, it proposes an exhibition ranging from prehistory to 20th century. The exhibition occupies 38 rooms.
Among the masterpieces of Brera Art Gallery, you can admire the Lamentation over the Dead Christ by Andrea Mantegna, The kiss by Hayez, the Saint Jerome by Tiziano and The Wedding of Virgo of Raffaello.
